Privacy Policy.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy outlines how Value Bridge Partners ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website or use our services. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Information We Collect
We may collect personal information from you when you:
- Fill out a form on our website (contact, tools, or assessment forms).
- Subscribe to our newsletter or insights.
- Contact us directly for inquiries.
Information collected may include your name, email address, firm name, role, and any additional information you choose to provide.
3. How We Use Your Information
Value Bridge Partners uses your information for the following purposes:
- To provide and improve our services and tools.
- To communicate with you regarding your inquiries or requests.
- To send periodic insights and updates about our services, where you have opted in.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis and Consent
We process your personal data on the following bases. When you ask us for something (a reply, a checklist, a report, a tool result), we process your data to answer your request, on the basis of our legitimate interest in doing so and, where relevant, to take steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). When you tick a box or subscribe to receive marketing emails, we rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Analytics and advertising cookies are used only with your consent, given through the cookie banner. Where the law requires us to keep certain records, we rely on a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), we process your data in line with the principles of lawfulness, good faith and proportionality, and we ask for your consent wherever the law requires it.
Consent is always optional. You can withdraw it at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email, by replying "stop", or by writing to contact@valuebridge-partners.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
5. Email Marketing
We send marketing emails (insights, invitations and follow-ups about our services) only to people who have agreed to receive them, by ticking an unticked box or by subscribing to a notification or newsletter form. Receiving a checklist, a report or a tool result does not by itself sign you up for marketing emails. Every marketing email identifies us as the sender and contains a free, one-click way to unsubscribe. We keep a record of when you consented, the version of the wording you saw and the page you used, so that we can show your consent later.
6. Data Protection
We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
7. Sharing, Service Providers and Transfers Abroad
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties without your consent, except to provide our services (for example, email delivery providers) or as required by law. All third-party processors are bound by confidentiality obligations.
Service providers acting on our behalf include our email delivery provider (Resend), our hosting provider (Vercel), our appointment booking tool, our customer-relationship (CRM) tools and the cloud services that host our lead-handling tools. Some of them process data outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. In that case we rely on an adequacy decision or the Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on standard contractual clauses, as the nFADP and the GDPR require.
8. Retention
We keep enquiries and opt-in records for up to 24 months after our last interaction with you, unless the law requires a longer period or we need the data to handle a claim or an active engagement. Records of consent are kept for as long as we rely on the consent, and for the limitation period afterwards. When you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a suppression list so that we do not contact you again.
9. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies work without consent. Analytics (Google Analytics 4) and the LinkedIn Insight Tag (audience measurement and campaign reporting) load only after you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the cookie icon at the bottom right of any page, or in your browser settings. We do not use other advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
10. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of any inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances.
- Data portability, where applicable.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@valuebridge-partners.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, www.edoeb.admin.ch); in the EU, the authority of your country of residence or work.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
12. Controller and Contact
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, please contact us at contact@valuebridge-partners.com.
The controller for the processing described in this policy is Value Bridge Partners LLC (“Value Bridge Partners”).
